		<description>I agree with much of what you say about analog vs digital and you use good examples. 

Regarding the microwave beep, I can see how it can be annoying and something I wouldn&#039;t want either. However, I have friends who microwave stuff and forget to take it out until after they have eaten. I suppose in those situations the intermittent beeps help. 

At the risk of overly complicating a feature, a suggestion would be to allow the user to turn this feature off and on....</description>
